I’m with Heather! More, more, more. I can almost smell the food and hear the wind in the aspens. I bet it’s beautiful there right now, and I’m missing all the cool nights and the great music and the talk about writing. Ahhhhh…
Heather, Jodi, Jennifer, Barb, Sarah, Peggy–thanks so much for your comments. We’re breaking for lunch now. I’ll try to get some more photos up later today.
Reminds of that great scene in my all time favorite movie Field of Dreams where the guy playing Kevin Costner’s character’s father says, “Is this heaven?” and Kevin Costner responds, “No, it’s Iowa.”
This is one of my favorite comments ever. And it was heaven, Cristina. In Colorado. That’s my husband’s favorite movie too so I know that scene well.
(You are also the author of my favorite comment ever–a long time ago, you wrote that this blog was what your blog wanted to be when it grew up—I don’t think I’ll ever forget that.)
I’m green with envy, too. I wanted to plan a writer’s retreat to my family cabin in the mountains this past summer…didn’t happen. But hopefully, someday soon, it will.
More more!! 🙂
I am green, green, green with envy.
lovely, Cynthia.

Terresa, a writing retreat is a wonderful idea. Maybe start planing now for next summer?
