prunes… you like them, because basically they are plums? and plums are yum? prunes… you need them on occasion, because… never mind? prunes… are an interesting motif of Renaissance art? prunes… you just like the word?
It has nothing to do with plums or what prunes can do for me or their artistic value or the word itself–it’s the taste. I love the way they taste. I always have. Back in the 60’s there used to be a yummy prune yogurt that I first tasted at a family picnic at the Atlanta Zoo (but I’m not a fan of the current Activia version). I take it you would have liked all this info in my post… : )
Me too. Yum. And prune juice.
Megan–a fellow pruner : ) And yes, prune juice too–yummy.
I don’t like them.
Have you tried them recently? Just a little pop of sweetness. And good for you too–what’s not to like?

See you this afternoon!
Your shortest post yet! Still, prunes are the underappreciated heroes of the gut.
Ha, Sarah. True on both counts.
