I’ve now been married to Cal more years than I had been alive at the time I married him. Late last night he decorated the side table here with four anniversary cards. I never even thought about cards. A couple of days ago, I asked him if the thirty years was worth it to get to this trip. Not a chance, he answered, smiling.
