This post is made possible by two friends: Jodi Paloni took these photos of the Days’ Cottages this winter, and Darrelyn Saloom recently taught me how to insert a slideshow into a blog post. Many thanks.

I spent late December and much of January at my sister’s condo on Melbourne Beach, Florida. What I loved, and miss, is being able to sleep with the sliding doors open and the incoming surf slapping and hissing below, a pleasant seabreeze filling the room. It is a heavenly way to sleep.
Richard, I LOVE to sleep, eat, read, sit with the doors open at the beach. And I agree, the sound of waves is heavenly and one of my favorite things about being by the water.
It’s always a joy to visit your website, so I’m thrilled I could help. And I LOVE the photos you posted.
Thank YOU again : )
I love these photos too!! And it was neat to read the back story about the cottages and how your blog started. I visited Provincetown 10+ years ago when I was in college, and would love to go back. Maybe for a writing or art event one day…
Thanks, Cherry! I hope you do get to go back to P-town. Meanwhile, enjoy your little bundle of joy : )
