The Pulitzer Prize in Fiction was awarded today to A Visit From the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan, “an inventive investigation of growing up and growing old in the digital age, displaying a big-hearted curiosity about cultural change at warp speed.”

    Wow, great—you saw that one coming. Another book to add to the reading list. I have read several you’ve mentioned and really enjoyed them. I had heard of her book but forgotten it until you flagged her first award.

    I was so glad you brought the LA Times article to my attention. I read it while on vacation a few weeks ago and I loved it. So interesting, hilarious, awesome.
