Wasn’t there one more, the one if front of Jean’s house?

Darn. I didn’t get a photo of the one shovel I saw in action : )

Funny – the shovels look so new! Hopefully this will be your last Maine winter in the south. We’re expecting another big storm Wednesday with up to 18 inches but the last one missed us.

Sarah, I was just about to click on your blog to see what you’ve been up to when your comment came through. We are having a Maine winter here, which I love and don’t want to be the last, but these are Vermont shovels! I was fascinated that everyone had one on their porch.

Good luck this week with the snow.

Those shovels must work very well since there’s no snow to be seen on any of the porches or steps.

    How I envy you all!

Shovels on porches are something we don’t have in Georgia so I was fascinated by this seemingly commonplace object : )
