Besides, some people want to follow without joining WordPress. (Imagine! Readers with nothing of their own they care to blog about!) How else would they do that, without email? I should think it would be much worse to write a printed newspaper column; once off the presses, you can never correct what you’ve written, except perhaps when all your columns are collected in a book. At some point you have to let go…and let what will be, be.
