Mostly, I know a line from there and one from here. The older I get the more likely I am to mix both into a new one, albeit inadvertently. In answer to your question, I have always wanted to carry lines around.

Your post reminded me of this Eva Cassidy song, “I Know You By Heart,” perhaps another way of knowing lines.
