July 1, 2012: Michael Martone

I met Michael at AWP this year. I had read his fiction and nonfiction in literary journals and worked with him on a list he created for Hunger Mountain. Michael’s words were also the focus of a wonderful collage piece recently featured in Writer, Inc. at Hunger Mountain–How To Be a Writer. I’m currently reading Michael Martone, his memoir in contributor’s notes.
