Beautifully written….you speak for many of us about what is at stake in this election and the uncomfortable anxiety that is taking it’s toll on our minds and hearts. I remember sitting in my car listening to Dr. Blasey Ford speak at the Kavanaugh hearing and being so outraged by the disrespect shown her by the white male Republican senators. The only thing good to have come out of that time is Rage Baking both for its thought provoking essays and wonderful recipes. Thank you Kathy and Katherine.

Loved reading this! I don’t like it when someone tells me here’s a great idea for a novel, but for Kathy, I would love a cookbook about “carry- in” cooking- instead of carry out- what we can carry in to friends during a pandemic or any time we want to take food to help or console a friend. Love Kathy’s post and will buy some of her beautiful books!

Yum! Those photos. I love it! Rage Baking! Kathy and I share Maine and two dear friends in Georgia, but we’ve yet to share a meal together (though it’s been dreamed of on my end.) Planning a post-pandemic party.
