To me, it seems like 2011 was the peak of activity. This year I started resigning from things-trying to slow down. Still, this year has 3 graduations and a wedding. But, building on what Claire said above, at least now I’m sticking a foot into the dirt… Reading this post, it’s like I can see it. I had to stay busy busy busy in order to make it to the end. But now I’m ready for the calm.

Exactly. But I look so calm and composed in that photo… I just wanted to do it all. I always have. I never want to miss anything.
