Dress up as your characters! Great idea. Have had Lila on my pile for quite a time now, so best get going on slowing down with it. Nice to catch a glimpse of back home here on Cynthia’s wonderful blog. xo

Oh, how I identify with this! Although it is the end of winter, now, and we’re coming into Spring, so the long (long, long, long) summer holidays are still ahead of me. It’s so hard to find the time to garden and parent and work and of course, write. Glad to hear you’re getting the odd moment to do so, and best of luck for the second novel!

Oh how I love this depiction of a day overtaken by children, the music and laughter and bickering, the slivers of time alone, breathe breathe breathe. I’ve been trying to comment here since I read this post this morning, but my two-year-old has not given me a minute, until now, after I’ve handed her off to her dad. I so relate to that feeling of relief, and I’d love to pour a jam jar of rose, but I’m off to the library to write. Robin, your writing has such a beautiful energy and cadence. I can’t wait to read more of your work! Cynthia, as always, thank you for hosting this inspiring series.
