I've used these colors for decades. The yellow works with everything everywhere. The violet works best in smallish spaces that don't get a lot of natural light. All best to you!

Wow, Dylan, you're good! You still know the number/color of the paints! :D Thank you for that. At some point I may go for it. You never know :) Complimentary colors used well have such aesthetic appeal :)

Thank you kindly! These are indeed gifts in my life and I wish the same to you. If the colors on the walls resonate with you, the yellow is Benjamin Moore 311 and the violet is Pratt & Lambert Violet Harmony. Peace.

What a lovely response; thank you for reading, thank you for writing. The natural linen sheets sound dreamy too. And I hope you find your writing partner when the time is right.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable peek into your typical day, Dylan. How wonderful to spend so much of it writing :) It's something I long for and hope to achieve, at least partially, someday!

Your apartment looks so lovely with walls lined with bookshelves and pictures. The coloring, too :) The view out the window is very cool, too. I love the city, but am not a city dweller (not since I was a kid in the Bronx), though sometimes wish I could spend intermittent weeks there so I could get in the many things I can't do largely due to tolls and parking.

And it seems you have some great gifts in that of writing partners and friends. It all sounds so wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing :)

This was a wonderful piece. The descriptions here are soft, lovely, evocative. For some time I've wanted a writing partner, but I've done nothing about it yet, I think because it would require me to be more productive than I currently am prepared to be in my essay work. The black sheets are intriguing. All my sheets are white with a bit of cream or natural linen. Thank you for another entry in this thoughtful series.
