Sarah and David, I’m so sorry for the late response. I was only at home for a few days (my son’s fall break) between Brattleboro and the WxW Workshop at Tomales Bay, and I’m only now seeing that I missed your two wonderful comments. Sarah, the author spelling bee was hilarious. You’re so lucky to live as close as you do to Vermont and to have a son in school there now! David, it was great to meet you. I’m still savoring as well, sipping on an Ice Sparkling Apple Cider, which is not nearly as good as the REAL thing. Thanks for leaving a comment here. I hope you’ll be back!

In reply to cynthia. I'll bet I would've, Cynthia! The only Death Match I'm familiar with over the past couple of years is actually with chess! I'm not really a player, but am very involved on Chess.com with their TV programs. They are now doing monthly Death Matches in which two Masters compete for money. Quite a difference from literary, that's for sure! lol
