Last night, I vowed to get up at 6:00 and have the perfect writing day. I got up, read this, and now I know how the rest of the day should look! Thank you! I was eating a bowl of Quaker oats when I read about Darrelyn’s Irish breakfast. I’ll never forget my first Irish breakfast–a B&B in Arthur’s Port, where the oatmeal was creamier, sweeter, lighter than the finest creme brulee.

Good morning from Slane County Meath in Ireland. I’m having an Irish breakfast with tea and feeling a tiny bit guilty my husband is back in Louisiana doing his and my farm chores. Guilty until I read about Natalie’s husband serving her coffee in bed. I’ve never been served coffee in bed. Think I’ll just savor the rest of this tea without a pinch of guilt.
