How you spend your days is a whole new blog post now. All the best! Perhaps Cynthia should have a feature called, How Else We Spend Our Days.

Cynthia, loved this interview and the pictures, the books!!

I find every glimpse into another writer’s life sheds insight on the multiplicity of ways it can be done and in steps, I, too, am doing it.

PS: Judging poetry entries, ah, I’d like to do that!! 🙂

Shaindel, I’d recommend sleeping when your newborn sleeps (instead of writing) or you will be a basket case. Once your baby is on solids at 6 months, you’ll both be getting more sleep, and there will be a longer, more reliable naptime. You can, however, read while nursing easily. Being a parent with a little one is a full time (ie 24 hours, 7 days a week) job so line up childcare if you need to work. It’s a wonderful time too. Congratulations! That’s nice to hear that you are working with inmates in prison and interesting that it helps your writing too.

Cynthia, thanks for another glimpse into a writer’s life.

Sleep when the baby sleeps, and the don’t forget this same advice when they become teenagers…a very enjoyable post. All the best for a joyous birth.
