Hi Katherine! I bet you’re loving this book. That quote is a wonderful description of a child. Lucky you to hear Summer read on the 1st.

She’ll be writing the How We Spend Our Days post on March 1st too. So come back for that!

As far as I know, Summer Wood is her real name. Now that you mention it, though, I’m surprised I’ve never asked her about it.

Good for you getting work done.

I’m really enjoying it. I also loved that line where she said he “seemed to need to feel his body collide with the physical world to know he existed.” I have a 3 year old and that statement captures her perfectly. It’s a LOVELY story and I can’t wait to hear her read in Seattle on the 1st! Yay!

Catchy! It was fun to scan these excerpts. Sorry to be so late to visit. I’ve been offline finishing off a draft of my WIP before February break.

A great premise that, over years and years, turned into a wonderful book. I first heard Summer read from Wrecker in 2007.

Sarah, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
