I agree, Holly. If I could just choose one novel, it might be Light Years. Although I enjoyed this collection, not even Salter was able to top Salter.

As a painter, I often feel that which is left unsaid allows a certain ambiguity creating an opening for the viewer to enter the piece and move around in. I will certainly seek out this collection of short stories and savor every one.
